Annotation to the work program of the Discipline «Immunology»
Specialty "General medicine" 31.05.01.
THE GOALS OF THE DISCIPLINE.
The goals of the "Immunology" discipline are:
1) Introducing students to the methodology of understanding functional and morphological foundations in the diagnosis and treatment of immunopathological processes (immunological insufficiency, hypersensitivity, autoimmune reactions) and diseases.
2) Forming competence based on knowledge of the immune system, the course of the infectious process and immunological reactions.
3) Educating the skills of modern methods of prevention, microbiological, molecular-biological and immunological diagnostics, the main areas of treatment of infectious and opportunistic diseases of the person, manifested in the mouth and maxillofacial area.Задачи дисциплины:
4) Exploring modern methods of researching and diagnosing the state of immunological reactivity in normal and pathology; Study of adequate treatment of hemo- and immunograms, data of clinical examination of patients for a qualified diagnosis; study of the principles of adequate, differentiated immunotherapy of patients. 2) Forming ideas about the structure and functioning of the immune system, its role in ecology and methods of decontamination, including the basics of disinfectology and sterilization techniques, the formation of students skills to work with scientific literature.
PLACE OF IMMUNOLOGY IN STRUCTURE OF EDUCATION.
Discipline "Immunology" refers to the basic part of the block in the specialty "General medicine." The methodical study of immunology relies on the study of biology, microbiology, and is necessary as a precursor discipline for the development of infectious diseases, dermatovenereology, epidemiology, obstetrics and gynecology.
STUDYING OG IMMUNOLOGY IS AIMED TO CREATE THE FOLLOING COMPETENCIES:
As a result of the discipline, the student must demonstrate the following results of education:
1. Know:
-terminology and phenomenology of immunology;
-basic methods of assessing the immunological and routine laboratory status of healthy individuals and patients suffering from immunological disorders;
-essence and the main patterns of immunity phenomena, autoimmune diseases and immunodeficiency conditions, hypersensitivity reactions;
-concepts of etiology, pathogenesis, morphogenesis of immunopathological components in the disease;
-Classification of immunomodulatory drugs, including immunotropic effects of traditional medicines;
-basics of planning and conducting clinical-laboratory immunological research.
2. To be able:
- to decipher the immunogram,
-to compare it with the clinical status of the patient,
- to identify perverted links of immunological reactivity;
-To formulate a specific diagnosis of immunopathology;
-based on the results of clinical-laboratory examination of patients, passport activity modulators to choose a profile immunocorrector (or correctors);
-to apply the knowledge in the study of other disciplines and in the subsequent medical and diagnostic work.
3.Own:
-a method of choosing the best drugs for the work of a combined alternative immunocorrection;
-A method of calculating the optimal doses of immunocorrectors;
-a method of correcting immune disorders without the use of modulators due to a combination of traditional drugs with immunotropic effects;
-the method of using different variants of immunocorrection depending on the stage and severity of the disease.
-The process of mastering discipline is aimed at forming the following competencies:
GC-1, GC-5, GPC -1, GPC -5, GPC -7, GPC -9, PC -1, PC-5, PC-21, and of the following work functions: A/01.7, A/02.7, A/03.7, A/04.7, A/05.7, A/06.7.
